Total Turf Care utilise very specialised machine called a GKB turf Top Maker to remove sports turf from playing surfaces. This task is often required where a playing surface is to be re-constructed and laser grading is required, so therefore the turf needs to be removed first. Also, when turf thatch has become excessive and the ground has to be re-seeded and started again.

This machine allows for the turf sward to be stripped off cleanly to a depth of 30mm and the material is then sent up a discharge conveyor belt to a following small truck or tractor trailer and removed from the playing field.
