Total Turf Care can and does carry out many sports turf maintenance activities across the state. These activities are carried out primarily for councils and schools.

These sportsground turf maintenance activities include:

• 12-month agronomic sportsground programs

• Soil testing and reporting

• Broadleaf weed, turf insecticide and fungicide spraying. Total Turf Care is a Tasmanian Government registered spray contractor

• Fertiliser applications

• Over-seeding of sportsground areas following winter sports rosters

• Sand and top soil dressing

• Soil decompaction using either:

  • Verti-drain machine​

  • Hollow tyne coring and either dispersal on ground or removal from playing surface

  • Solid tyne coring using the Aerovator machine

• Turf oval dethatching​
